Donald Jessie Keen, 69, of Lake City, Fl., passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Baya Pointe Nursing Home.
Mr. Keen was born on May 6, 1946 in Lake City, Fl., to the late Shep Keen and Hazel Jones Keen. He was a lifelong resident of Lake City and retired from the Department of Transportation Sign Shop. He loved hunting, race cars, going to the market to watch the cow sales, and he frequently visited the S&S Food Store in Watermelon Park. He was a loving Father, Brother and Grandfather.
He is proceeded in death by his parents and his loving wife Patricia Oliver Keen.
Survivors included his daughter; Donna Scofield (Scott) from Lake City, Fl, two stepsons; Jason Oliver (Sarah) of Lake City, Fl., Jay Jay Oliver of Ga., stepdaughter; Angel Ward (Steven) of Lake City, Fl., , three brothers; Sherrod Keen ( Marcel), Jimmy Keen (Shirley), Bobby Keen (Barbara) all of Lake City, Fl., three grandchildren; Lynn Keen, Brett Newcomb, Brooke Ward.
Graveside Memorial Service will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, June 5, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Zach Douglas officiating.
