Mr. Donald Lee Breckenridge, Sr., 65, of Lake City, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, October 29, 2017 at the Haven, Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center after an extended illness with his family by his side. He was born on May 16, 1952 to the late Ralph Leroy and Estalee Fairchild Breckenridge in Akron, OH. He worked with the Florida Department of Transportation, where he had over 40 years of service. He was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed coaching T-Ball, building things and serving as the Scout Master for the Boy Scouts, Troop 87.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years; Betty Breckenridge of Lake City; son; Donald Breckenridge, Jr. of Lake City and daughter; Kimberly Taylor (Ray) of Lake City; sister; Linda Soride of Ft. White. Four grandchildren; Raylee Taylor, Breck Taylor, Triton Breckenridge and Ranger Breckenridge all of Lake City.

Memorial services for Mr. Breckenridge will be held privately at a later date at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations please be considered to Haven Hospice, 6037 W Us Highway 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
