Mr. Donal Britt, 89, of Fort White, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at the Lake City VA Medical Center in Lake City after a brief illness. He was born in Chadborun, North Carolina on August 25, 1932 to the late Marcus C. Britt and Viola Tubervile Britt. He has made Fort White his home for the last 21 years, moving here from the Thonotossa, Florida area. He was a US Air Force Veteran and worked as a Truck Driver for Oakley Tank Lines for many years until retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, farming, going to social events, being involved with his church and boating. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Mattox Britt in 2015 and several siblings.

He is survived by his children, Teresa Haines (Larry), Tammie Britt, Terry Britt and Toni Price (Gary). Nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren also survive.

A graveside funeral service for Mr. Britt will be conducted on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in the Elim Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Sweat officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 A.M., prior to the service, at the graveside.
