Dolores Sandra Warner

Dolores Sandra Warner (ne’e Tully), 81, of Crystal River, Florida passed away February 01, 2026 after a brief illness.

Affectionately known as Dolly, she was born in April of 1944 in Upper Darby, PA and graduated from Chichester High School in 1962 where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She worked for Sun Oil as a secretary until she married her husband in 1967. They raised three children in their home in Trooper, PA. After divorcing in 1986, Dolly and family moved to Gainesville, FL.

Dolly worked briefly for an insurance company until she obtained a position at the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce where she worked for two years. She then obtained employment at the University of Florida Physical Plant Division as an Administrative Assistant until her retirement in 2011.

Dolly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially her great-granddaughter “The Munchkin”. She loved shopping, trying out new recipes, going out to lunch, watching the Hallmark Channel and the Food Network, and anything chocolate! She loved the time she spent living in her retirement community in Crystal River, FL with her sister Pat, riding on their scooters to the clubhouse for game night, cards, and potluck suppers. She had a “tell it like it is” attitude, and those who knew her loved her witty sense of humor and her big heart.

Dolly is survived by her children Christine M Ledger (William), Deborah L Purington (Patrick), William M Warner (Dana), her grandchildren Heather, Michael, Rebekah, Cody, Courtney, and her great-granddaughter Ellaina, her sister Patricia Bulatewicz Powers, and her brother Lawrence Tully (Shirley). She is preceded in death by the father of their children William R Warner and her parents Lawrence W and Clara E Tully. The family will gather privately to honor her memory.
