Diane Sue Maxwell, 65, of Lake City, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 after an extended illness. She was born on August 26, 1956 in Logansport, Indiana and has made Lake City her home since 1973 and was a waitress for over thirty plus years. In her spare time, she enjoyed going to the beach, spending time with her family and cookouts with her family. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob Nave and her mother, Bess Hunt Kline.

She is survived by her daughters, Amy Chapman (Randy Pollard) of Lake City and Cristy Nave (Jason) of Flowery Branch, GA; father, Bill Kline; sister, Darla Whitcomb (Freddy) of Lake City; and her brothers, Joe Kline (Wladia) and John Kline (Jessica) both of Saint Cloud. Eight grandchildren & one great-grandchild with one on the way also survive.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Orchard at Southridge, located at 162 SW Ridge St., Lake City, FL 32024.  In lieu of flowers, in honor of Diane, donations can be made to Another Way at www.anotherwayinc.net.
