David Andrew Willis, 75, of Lake City, Florida passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022.  He was born on June 4, 1947 in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late Virlyn B. and Mary J. Willis. He graduated from Columbia High in the class for 1965. As a deacon and member of the First Baptist Church, he served in many roles in the ministry of the church.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly A. Hemphill Willis, and his daughter Amy Melissa Willis.

Survivors include his brother Virlyn B. Willis, Jr. (Sherry) and sisters Dr. Marilyn Willis of Signal Mountain, Tennessee and Mary D. Kiessling (Dr. Bruce) of Anchorage, Alaska. He is also survived by nieces Sharyn Willis Shields and Eva Lynn Barnes and nephews V. Benson Willis, III; Dr. J. Willis Kiessling and Patrick L. Kiessling.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Lake City.
