Mr. David Wayne McCall, 49, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the HCA FL Lake City Hospital in Lake City following a sudden illness. He is the son of Gaston E. and Glenda K. Hill McCall. David had lived in Lake City all his life and he enjoyed playing golf, friendly conversations, cooking barbecue, and spending time with his family and friends he was just a 'Good OL Fashion Boy."

David is survived by his parents Gaston E. and Glenda K. McCall, Lake City, FL one son Caleb Gilley (Lauren) Clover, SC, two sisters Wendy Long (Billy) and Angela Trollinger (Robert) both of Lake City, FL. one grandchild Paxon James Gilley. One niece Brittany Moss (Zackary) Lake City, FL, and three nephews James "Jimmy" Johnston (Stephany); and Brock Friar (Jessie) both of Lake City, FL, and Bryce Friar, Jacksonville, FL.

A memorial service for David will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating at Christ Central Church. A Visitation with the family will be held Friday, June 7, 2024, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL.
