Mr. Daryl Orbon Petersen, 19 of Lake City died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at Shands at the University of Florida, following an ATV accident. He was born in Bicol, Phillipines and had lived in Lake City for the past ten years, prior to moving from Lexington Park, MD. Daryl graduated from Columbia High School in 2005, where he played the drums in the Columbia High School Band, as well as the church band at Christ Central Ministries where Daryl was also a devoted member. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tovel Petersen in 2004.

Daryl is survived by his parents, Stanley and Gloria Petersen, Lake City, maternal grandmother, Felicidad Orbon, Bicol Phillipines, his uncle, Mike Petersen (Linda), Appleton, WI and his aunt, Gerri Bellin (Dayle), Greenbay, WI. Numerous friends, extended family and ?Jasmine? also survive.

Funeral services for Daryl will be conducted Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Christ Central Ministries Church with the pastors of the church and Father Dung Bui of Epiphany Catholic Church officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M., Monday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S. HWY 441, Lake City.
