Mr. Darryl Francis Stumph, 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the VA Hospital in Lake City, FL, following an extended illness. He is the son of the late John Francis and Hattie Frances Holt Stumph. He is preceded in death by one step- daughter Karen Knots.  Darryl served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from December 18, 1961, to November 4, 1969, and then from January 29, 1970, to March 31, 1982.

He has made Lake City his home for the past forty-three years after moving here from Kentucky. He enjoyed fishing, piddling, and working on cars and lawnmowers.

He is survived by his wife of forty years Betty Ann Stumph, Lake City, FL; three daughters Connie Chapman (Jamie) Kentucky; Cindy Voltz, Lake City, FL; and Brenda Sandage (Jody) Lake City, FL; one brother Jimmy Stumph, Kentucky, one sister Ginny Marie, Kentucky and a niece Julie Gillis and numerous grandchildren and extended family also survive.
