Darryl Harmon Crawford, 61, of Providence, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his residence after a sudden illness. He was born in Plant City, Florida on December 28, 1959 and has made the Lake Butler/Providence area his home most of his life. He was a 1977 graduate of Union County High School and was a member of the Old Providence Baptist Church. He was a farmer and truck driver by trade, who in his spare time, enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching The Andy Griffith Show's and playing cards. He was known to be a "Jack of All Trades", owning his own saw mill at one time and even building his own home.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Darlene Crawford of Providence; mother and father, Lester and Ileen Crawford of Providence; daughters, Cindy Andrews (Shawn) of Providence and Carolina Crawford of Ft. White; brothers, LaWayne Crawford (Kay) of Providence and David Crawford of Providence; sisters, Donna Metzler (Mike) of Alachua and Dana Crawford of Providence. Three grandchildren, Levi, Luke and Laikyn Andrews along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Crawford will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Old Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Stout and Dr. Zeb Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday evening, January 29, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to the Old Providence Baptist Church General Fund or to the Gideon's International.
