Edgar Darrell Spradley, 64, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 25, 2025. Darrell was born in Lake City on July 7, 1961 to the late Edgar Ray "E.R." Spradley and McKatherine Julia Bryan Spradley. He has made Lake City his home his entire life and was the owner/operator of Darrell Spradley Concrete Construction. He loved racing and watching NASCAR, but what he loved more than anything, was spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Little Bobby Griffis; and his brother, Tony Spradley.

He is survived by his loving wife of over 24 years, Patty Prescott Spradley of Lake City; his step children, Bobby "Bubba" Griffis (Ashley) and Monica Hannah (Jay) both of Lake City; brothers, Sephus Spradley (Sheryl), Doyle Spradley and Delano Spradley (Tracy) all of Lake City. Six grandchildren, William Reeder, Peyton Griffis, Aubree Griffis, Easton Hannah, Sadie Griffis and Addison Anderson all of Lake City; along with his "Fur Child", Sophia also survive.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday evening, August 1, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted the following day, Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at the home of Darrell and Patty Spradley. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to be made for the family to help with their expenses during this difficult time.
