Darilyn F. Espenship, 69 of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, Georgia.  Mrs. Espenship was born in Live Oak, Florida to the late Earl and Helen Strickland Fielding and was a longtime resident of Lake City prior to moving to Cumming, Georgia in 2015.  She was a Christian by faith and worked many years as a pre-k/kindergarten teacher. One of her favorite pastimes was shopping but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family, children and grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one granddaughter, Kaley David.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph M. "Jody" Espenship, Cumming, GA; her two daughters, Kimberly David, Jacksonville and Melissa "Sissy" Romero, Atlanta, GA; her sister, Sue Clark, Live Oak; eight grandchildren, Kelsey, Reagan, Bailey, Hayden, Gabriel, Logan, Emma and Elijah; seven great grandsons and one great granddaughter also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Entombment will follow.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services in the cemetery from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
