Dakota J. Parsons, 26, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born on September 28, 1995 and has lived in the Lake City area most of his life. He attended Fort White High School and worked in the Pole Barn Business with his "Pops". In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working; but he most of all enjoyed being a dad. He is preceded in death by one son, Ezra Parsons.

He is survived by his Mother and "Pops", Marisol and Leonard Johnson; children, Canyon, Ni'Klaus and Timothy Parsons; brothers, Blake, Braxton and Brayden Johnson; sister, Kimberly Houston (Matt); and grandparents, Leonard & Clara Johnson, Emilia Gutierrez, Pablo Carrera, and Linda & Walter Hill. Many extended family members and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Dakota will be conducted on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
