Coy Lee Langley I, 84, of Lake City, passed away Friday morning, May 31, 2024, surrounded by his children. He was born in Black Creek, North Carolina on July 12, 1939, to the late Mac Vernon Langley and Della Estell Moore. He has made Lake City his home for the last 36 years, moving here from the West Palm Beach area. He was a mechanic; enjoyed watching NASCAR; working in his barn; telling stories and jokes; reading his Bible; and loved listening to his baby love play her piano and sing. He is preceded in death by his brother, Roy Langley, his parents and his loving wife, Dora Coley Langley. He is survived by his sons, Steven Lee Langley (Barbara), Kenneth Ray Langley (Kathy) & Richard Earl Langley; daughters, Tammie Lynn Paulin (Robbie) & Judy Rose Langley; his brother Ray Langley; sisters, Dorothy Davis, Shelby Hayes & Nell Langley. Sixteen grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren also survive. A graveside service will be held for his immediate family on July 8, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with his family officiating With Military Honors.
