Mr. Cola Wendell Davis, 80, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 13, 2025, following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Tanner M. and Iva Lee Ellis Davis and was preceded in death by one son, Deaun Davis, and two sisters, Martha Hayes and Jan Davis. He had made his home in Lake City for the past forty-eight years after moving here from Santa Fe, Florida. He was a member of South Side Baptist Church for the past thirty-one years, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, being a member of Faith Riders, watching TV, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family.

Wendell is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Anne Davis, Lake City, FL, one son, Mark R. Davis (Brandi), Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Hal Davis (Sharon), Santa Fe, FL; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
