Clyde W. Moseley, 91 of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Solaris HealthCare of Lake City. He was born the oldest of four children to the late Lonnie Murrell Moseley and Lona Mae Johnson Moseley. Mr. Moseley was born in Delray Beach, Florida, raised in Wellborn and a graduate of Wellborn High School class of 1952. He served our country in the United States Army with one of his years being stationed in France. Following his service, Mr. Moseley attended the Lake City Forest Ranger School before beginning his 50 plus years career in Pharmaceutical Sales. In 2018, Mr. Moseley moved back into our area having been a longtime resident of Jacksonville and St. Augustine. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Nelson Bradley “Chip” Moseley; and one brother, George Harry Moseley.
Survivors include his wife, Nita M. Moores of Lake City; two sons, Clyde William Moseley, Jr. of Jacksonville Beach and Steven B. Moseley (Amy) of Jacksonville; one brother, Larry Moseley of Wellborn; one sister, Gloria Moseley Williams (Jimmy) of Live Oak; three grandchildren, Shane, Noah and Ashley; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Moseley will be conducted on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 16292 45th Road, Wellborn, FL 32094, with Rev. Lewis Gooch officiating. Interment will follow.
