Mr. Clarence Kelly Rogers, 94 of Lake City was born on September 21, 1922 and passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at his home.  He was a son to the late Charles "Charley" M. Rogers and Lula Hall Rogers and was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army Air Force.  Mr. Rogers retired from Occidental Corporation and was member of Hopeful Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his late wife of 42 years, Mary Frances Rogers, four brothers, C.M. Rogers, Jr., F.T. Rogers, Farrell Rogers and Austin Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Margaret Louise Rogers; one son, Michael Clarence Rogers, Sr. (Shirley); one brother, Odell L. Rogers (Delia); two grandchildren, Mike Rogers (Liz) and Sharla Michele Fredrich (Ken); five great grandchildren, Micala Gafford, Jaidyn Rogers, Bailey Rogers, Gracey Rogers and Richard Rogers Cole; two sisters –in-law, Margaret Rogers and Mary Rogers; one half sister, Anne King Rogers Lamborn; two step-sons, Michael Richards and Mart Richards; four step grandchildren, Justin Richards (Kiara), Richland, WA, Thomas Richards (Shannon), High Springs, Ashlyn Jimenez (Grevin) and Ben Richards both of Seattle, WA; five step-great grandchildren, Lillian Richards, Madelyn Richards, Cameron Richards, Bentley Richards and Maddox Richards.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Hopeful Baptist Church with Pastor Zeb Cook and George Kerce officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Providence Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Sunday afternoon from 4-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
