Christopher Tyrel Williams, the beloved son of Marc Williams and Shkeela Whitfield- Walker, entered this world on May 28, 1999 in Gainesville, FL. He transitioned from this life on June 8, 2024 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was 25 years old. At the time of his death, Chris was employed with Rescar, Inc. as a Railcar Mechanic.

Chris was outgoing and loved by many. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his four-wheeler in his spare time. He was an amazing father, son, and friend. Chris received his education in the Columbia County School System, graduating with the class of 2018.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, Buster & Dorothy Williams, and Adel Whitfield; uncles, Chris & Jonathan Williams, and Adel Whitfield, Jr.; and aunts, Edna Jean Salters & Pauline Lyles.

He leaves to mourn his son, Langston Williams and his daughter, Saylor Williams both of Lake City; mother, Shkeela Whitfield-Walker (Novere) of Tampa; father, Marc Williams of Lake City; brothers, Blake Williams of Lake City, Terrance Whitfield & Daveon Hall both of Tampa; sister, Ka'Leigha Walker of Tampa. Grandmother, Annie Whitfield of Tampa; uncles, Phillip Williams (Valerie), Shelley Williams (Lucretia), David Williams (Bonnie), Chris Whitifield (Brieanna), Patrick Reed (Vonda) and Benzell Reed (Sabrina); aunts, Suzanne, Doris Rossin and Emily Williams. A host of cousins, special friend and mother of his children, Chelsea Robinson and a special cousin who was like a brother, Johnaven Reed also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Williams will be conducted on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kenneth Curry officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitiation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Following the funeral service, the family will have a repast for family and friends at 8034 NW US Highway 41, Lake City, FL, 32055.
