Christopher Allen "Chris" Royals, 53, of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 10, 2023, with his family by his side, after an brief illness. He was born in Lake City on December 2, 1969 to the late Dan Royals and Evelyn Cribbs. He was a Hairstylist by trade and currently was renting a room in the Merle Norman Company here in Lake City. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, watching movies and painting. He was preceded in death by his sister, Martha Hutto Crafton.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Cynthia Royals of Lake City; son, Josh Royals (Leah Stephens) of Lake City; brothers, Dan Royals, Jr. and Eugene Royals (Nancy) both of Lake City; sisters, Linda Roady (Chris) of Tallahassee, Rosa Royals Chambliss (Larry) of Haskell, OK, and Tammy Lynn Kavanagh of Lake City. One granddaughter, Charlee Royals along with numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service for Chris will be conducted at a later date.
