Mrs. Cheryl Hall Clark, 80, of Lake City, passed away on Sunday morning, March 16, 2025 at the HCA Florida – Lake City Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Leesburg, Florida on November 24, 1944 to the late Horace M. Hall and Edna Nettles Hall. She has made Lake City her home since 2003, moving here from Arkansas. She worked as an Elementary School Teacher for over 35 years, retiring in 1998 from the Lake County School System. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching sports & western moves, and traveling, she had traveled to over 22 different countries with Switzerland being her favorite. She was of the Baptist faith, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Okahumpka.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 54 years, Duane W. Clark of Lake City; her special caregiver, Cindy Kirby (Cliff) of Lake City; her sister, Salley Ann Walls (Nick) of Jacksonville; and her brother, Wallace Hall (Tracey) of Sanford.

A private family service will be held at a later date, with her ashes being spread in her favorite travel destination at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
