Charlie Ernest Phillips, IV

Mr. Charlie Ernest Phillips, IV, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital, following an extended illness. He is the son of the late Charlie Ernest Phillips, III. He is the son of Jennifer Carol Dicks. He has lived in Lake City all his life and enjoyed cooking, playing video games, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family, especially his children. he is also known as “grandma’s boy.” As the jokester of the family he kept everyone on their toes.

He is survived by his wife Mackenzie Phillips, Lake City, Fl; his children Brayden and Payton Warwick, Texas, Elijah Phillips, Lake City, FL; his mother Jennifer Lynch (Don) Lake City, FL; three brothers Jessie Lynch, Lake City, FL; Austin Lynch (Ashlyn) Jacksonville, FL and Tyee Lynch, Lake City, FL; and his maternal grandmother Betty Dicks, Lake City, FL.

A memorial service for Charlie Ernest Phillips, IV, will be conducted on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL.
