Charlie Mazzamuto, 52, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 8, 1969 to the late Anthony and Marie Albano Mazzamuto. He has made Lake City his home since 2005, moving here from Port St. Lucie. He worked for Home Depot for over 15 years, serving as an Appliance Specialist. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating and going to the gym with his children and spending time with his children and friends. He was known as a "work-a-holic" and a "political fanatic". He is preceded in death by his wife, Michelle Mazzamuto.

He is survived by his children, Marina and Marissa Mazzamuto both of Lake City; his fiancé, Ashley McAlister of McAlpin; siblings, Michael Mazzamuto of West Palm Beach, Fran Bognar of Lake City, Johnny Mazzamuto of Lake City and Anthony Mazzamuto of Lake City. His best friends, David Vance, Earl Peeler and Jules Brecht along with numerous other extended family and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Charles will be conducted on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.
