Charles R. "Rocky" Knight III passed away in Aurora, Illinois. Originally from Lake City, Florida, he was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Charles Knight and Lois Owens Knight.

He is survived by three daughters: Brittany Ward of Lake Butler and her husband Brad, Kayla Knight of Lake Butler, and Jordyn Knight of Jacksonville; and three grandchildren, Avery Ward, Liam Knight Ward, and Ember Ward.

Charles was a talented musician and enjoyed fishing.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bo Hammock officiating.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Rocky's name with the Frontline Healing Foundation at the following link.
