Mr. Charles M. Myers, 76 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was born in Essex, New Jersey to the late Curtis B. and Florence Bellinger Myers and had made Lake City his home since 1988 having previously been a long time resident of Wyoming. Mr. Myers had a Bachelor degree from MIT and his Master's degree from the University of Wyoming. He previously worked for the Eaton Corp. in Riverton, WY and retired in 2009 from Heat Pipe Technology in Alachua, FL. Mr. Myers was a devoted Christian and enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Marilee Myers, Lake City; two sons, Curtis Myers (Amy) and William Myers (Jessica) all of Lake City; two daughters, Gail Boehmer, Perry, FL and Sarah Garcia (Izzy), Lake City; two sisters, Carolyn Mehorter, Westfield, NJ and Ann Schuttenberg, North Olmstead, OH; 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild also survives.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Interment will follow.
