Donald Conner, 89 of White Springs, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at his home.  He was born in White Springs to the late Robert Lee Conner and Myrtie L. Sistrunk Conner.  Mr. Conner was a lifelong resident of the White Springs area and was a graduate of White Springs High School class of 1955.  He worked for 31 years with the Florida Department of Corrections and retired in 1991.  Mr. Conner loved racing and had his own car for 51 years. He also followed NASCAR and the Tampa Bay Rays.  Mr. Conner was attending White Springs Methodist Church when he was able.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Conner; and his maternal grandmother that raised him following his mother's death, Mary Jane Conner.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lynda Koon Conner, White Springs; one son, Terry Conner, White Springs; his brother, Jerry Conner (Wanda), Lake City; his sister, Kathy Freeman (Buddy), White Springs; four step-daughters, Melanie Cox (Eddie), Alachua, Lisa Hamm, Birmingham, AL, Michelle Lincoln (Paul), Williston and Robin Jones (Jesse), Jonesville; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Conner will be conducted on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Springs Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in White Springs.  A time of visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
