Chanchalben P. Patel, 97 of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at her home.  She was born in Kasor, India in 1920.  Mrs. Patel had made Lake City her home since 1982 having moved here from Samarkha, India.  She was a member of the Hare Krishna in Alachua, Florida.  Mrs. Patel was friendly to all and had a mind like a computer with great memory till her death.  She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her son, Arun P. Patel (Jyoti), Lake City; two daughters, Pushpa Patel (Suresh), Philadelphia, PA and Bhavana Patel (Prabodh), Austin, TX; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 28, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Priest Ramesh Mehta officiating.
