Catherine Ann Steinhagen, 59 of Fort White, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at her home with her family.  She was born in Waycross, Georgia to the late Morris Landon Boyd and Annie Muriel Bell Boyd.  Mrs. Steinhagen had made Lake City her home since 2002 having moved here from West Palm Beach, Florida.  She attended the Twin Lake High School in West Palm Beach and had worked for Skip's Deli in Lake City for a few years.  Mrs. Steinhagen enjoyed crafting with ceramics and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others.  She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Rick Boyd.

Survivors include her husband, John Steinhagen, Fort White; her son, Ed Steinhagen (Amanda), Lake City; her sister, Virginia Burke (Don), Liberty, KY; and three grandchildren, Christian Steinhagen, Laura Stalnaker and Emilee Steinhagen.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
