Obituary

Carson Richard Wallace Sr., "Pop Pop" of Lake City, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. He was born in Dames Quarter, Maryland on March 15, 1941 to Richard Gordon Wallace and Mary Messick Wallace. He was predeceased by both parents; his sisters, Marjorie Hillman and Debbie Watson; and his son, Carson R Wallace Jr.

Carson's first priority was always his family and his friends. His love of life and the outdoors was shared with all of them over the years. To know him was to love him and those memories will comfort us all.

Carson worked in the forest construction industry for many years and made lifelong friends and met many of his chosen family members. Survivors include his wife and soul mate, Diann Wallace; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Steve Gordon and granddaughters Emily and Abby Gordon; grandson Brad and Cindy Wallace and great grandchildren Brooklynn. Zeblin, Kelvin. grandson, Levi Wallace and. Tasia and great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Nova, and granddaughter, Jessie Wallace; brother, Bunky Wallace and Lorilee and Greg Dunn. Special lifelong chosen family and many friend also survive.

A time of visitation with the family will be Thursday, May 8, 2025 starting at 1:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Ogburn officiating.
