Carol Boland Parrott, 80 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville.  She was born in Pinehurst, Georgia to the late William Killian Boland and Mattie Lucille McCall Boland.  Mrs. Parrott had lived in Lake City for the past 48 years having moved here from Jacksonville.  She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Huntsville Baptist Church in Lake City.  Mrs. Parrott was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Julian Parrott, Jr.; two brothers, Billy and Donny Boland; and one sister, Jerry Crews.

Survivors include her son, Troy Parrott; three daughters, Christine Esing (Mark), Sandra Kuhn (Rickey) and Julie Peterson all of Lake City; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Huntsville Baptist Church, 5720 NW Lake Jeffery Road, Lake City, FL 32055, with Rev. James Steele, pastor, officiating.
