Mr. Calvin Russell Scott, 69, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. after a sudden illness. He is the son of the late William Douglas and Virgie Lee Clary Scott. Mr. Russell had made Lake City his home for the past thirty-four years after moving here from Kansas. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed stock car racing, building race cars, and fishing, and was an avid dog lover.

Mr. Russell is survived by his wife of fifty years Deanna Scott, Lake City, FL; one son Brian Scott (Becky), in Lake City, FL one daughter Brandy Roberts, Lake City, FL; and one brother Robert Scott (Jan) North Carolina. His five grandchildren Brian Michael Scott, Grace Hall (Carson), Hunter Scott, Braxton Scott, and Brent Scott, and three great-grandchildren Jace Scott, Hadleigh Scott, and Grayson Hall also survive.

A Memorial service for Mr. Calvin Russell Scott will be conducted on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
