Mr. Calvin Samuel Patrick, 81 of Ft. White, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  He was born in Miami, Florida to the late Sam and Alma Holtzclaw Patrick.  Mr. Patrick had made his home in Ft. White since 1974 and had previously lived in many places during his career in the Air Force.  He received his Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University.  Mr. Patrick served 21 ½ years in the United States Air Force retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant and also with the Florida Department of Corrections for 17 ½ years retiring as a Captain.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #101 in Warner Robbins, Georgia, the Freedom Baptist Church in Waycross, Georgia, and he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Euphrosina Patrick, Ft. White; four children, James Patrick, Ft. White, Mark Patrick (Melony), Birmingham, AL, Felicia Meyer (Eric Motel), Stone Mountain, GA and Calvin Patrick (Marilyn), Arden, NC; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor John Weaver of Freedom Baptist Church in Waycross, GA officiating.  Interment will follow with military honors.
