Calvin Hall, 73, of Lake City, passed away peacefully at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City on Thursday, January 21, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Evergreen, Alabama on December 22, 1947 to the late Ernest Pafford Hall and Mildred Louise Johnson Hall Commander. He has made Lake City his home most of his life and worked in the surveying and construction industry with L.D. Bradley and associates of Jacksonville until his retirement in 2013. He was a faithful member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and in his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, working on crossword puzzles and loved his church family dearly.

He is survived by his sons, James Steven Hall, Randal V. Hall and Michael Kevin Hall; sister, Linda Baugh (Jerry); brothers, Julian Hall and Danny Hall (Beverly). Eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Calvin will be conducted on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lewis Daniels, Pastor Brian Mimbs, Rev. Howard Thomas and Pastor Arnold Johns officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery (US HWY 441 North). The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Monday evening, January 25, 2021 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, Calvin requested that donations please be considered to the Oak Grove Baptist Church General Fund in his honor, 1007 NE Needmore Rd, White Springs, FL 32096. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the family asks that mask's be worn and that guidelines from the CDC please be followed.
