Bryan Shane O'Steen, 43, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, July 19, 2025 at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in Lake City on April 18, 1982 and has made Lake City his home his entire life. He was a member of Christ Central Ministries; and in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, joking around with his family, singing, anything to do with the water, going to Cedar Key, cheering on the Florida State Seminoles and spending time with his family, especially his children.

He is survived by his wife of over a year, Brittany Brasfield of Lake City; mother, Kay O'Steen of Lake City; father, Keith O'Steen (Staci) of Lake City; children, Kaiden O'steen and Macyn Grace O'steen both of Lake City; brothers, Nicholas O'steen (Chrissy) of Lake City & Tristan O'steen (Lexi) of Ft. White; and his sister, Pastor Shauna Teele (Pastor John Teele) of Pace, FL. Four nieces and nephews, Summer, Canyon, Rivy & Coastlyn Teele all of Pace, FL, along with many extended family members and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Shane will be conducted on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in Christ Central, 359 SW Dyal Ave, Lake City, FL, 32024, with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating, assisted by Pastor John Teele and Pastor Shauna Teele. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the church.
