Brenda Frances Schwartz, 44, of Lake City died Thursday evening as a result of an automobile accident. A native and lifelong resident of Lake City, Brenda was a Sergeant with the Florida Department of Corrections, a job that she loved dearly, and a job where she had many friends who loved her for her big heart and big smile. She was a free spirited person who loved life in general and would do anything for anyone. Brenda enjoyed playing softball, riding motorcycles, and playing volleyball, and spending time with her beloved family. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Steven and Patricia Schwartz

Brenda is survived by her parents, Dr. Louis and Jackie Schwartz of Lake City; one son, Bryan Clifford Schwartz (Phalon) of Lake City; one brother, Michael Schwartz (Denise) of Lake City; one grandson, Shaw Louis Hacker Schwartz of Wellborn; maternal grandmother, Frances Tompkins Everett of Lake City; one aunt, Gerogetta Ebelsheiser of Lake City; two uncles, Stanley Schwartz (Rose) of Ft. Lauderdale, and Norman Schwartz (Pauline) of Georgia; three nieces, Renee Parish, Michelle Mann (Robert), and Amber Roebuck (Casey) all of Lake City; one nephew, Steven Michael Schwartz of Lake City; ?Her Babies?, (great nieces and nephews), Bryson, Kaylie, Kaden, Branson, and Kylie; numerous cousins including Chris Ebelsheiser (Laura) and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Brenda will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Christ Central Ministries Church with Reverend Mark Johns and Chaplain Roy Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home.
