Mrs. Brenda Sue Curtis, 81, of Lake City died on Thursday July 4, 2024 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center. A native of Sylacauga, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late M.C. and Dora Louise Lee Holt. Mrs. Curtis retired from the Columbia County School System after many years of service. She volunteered for Hospice after retirement and loved shopping and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by her son, Tony Curtis (Carolyn); grandson, Chace Curtis; and Daniel Lovett who was like a son to her.

Per her wishes, the family held private graveside services where she was buried beside her beloved husband Robert Curtis who preceded her in death in 2022.
