Miss Braxleigh "Brax" Pinnick, 6, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 22, 2023. She was born in Lake City on June 2, 2017, and has lived all of her life in Lake City. She was a very smart and intelligent little girl who loved going fishing and being outdoors, and loved her sister and brother dearly. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Ariel Ann Pinnick and her maternal grandmother, Holly Joanne VanWyck.

She is survived by her brother and sister, Keatyn and Tynleigh Thurman of Lake City; father, Donnie Thurman of Lake City; Maternal grandfather, Raymond Christopher "Chris" Pinnick (Madeline Martin) of Indiana; maternal great-grandmothers, Dawn Craig (Michael Thompson) of Lake City; maternal great-great-grandmother, Lona VanWyck of Lake City; aunts, Cassie Cowart of White Springs and Angela Fleming; step-father, Robert Ausley of Lake City; paternal grandparents, Olivia and David Hobby of Lake City. Many extended family members and cousins also survive.

A celebration of life service for Braxleigh will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. in the Gateway Baptist Church with Rev. Drue Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 3:00-5:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church.
