Mr. Billy R. King, 72, passed away Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice) in Lake City, Florida. Billy was born in Coleman, Alabama, the son of the late, Dewal and Margaret [Downing] King and had lived in the Lake City area for the last 24 years. He was a loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather who enjoyed working hard, and being outdoors hunting & fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jerry, J.T., Darrell, and Randy King, and his wife of 35 years, Margaret King (2002).

Survivors include his wife of 8 years, Peggy King; his sons, Stephen King of Albertsville, AL, Lonnie Lovett and Crawford Lovett both of Lake City, FL; daughters, Cindy Hamilton of Lake City, FL, Kelly Dewel of Forest Lake ,MN, Tammy Wester of Florahome, FL, Patsy Miller of Live Oak, FL and Freda Kitchens of Albertsville, AL; brothers, Ricky, Donnie, Gary, Wayne, & Danny King; sisters, Bobbie Davenport, Dorothy Tucker, Shirley Hogarth, Judy Bearden, Frances Edmonson, and Gail James; 13 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Aaron Turner officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 12:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
