Mr. Billie "Billy" Griffin, 77, of Lake City passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. A native of Ray City, Georgia, the son of the late Edgar and Bessie Martin Griffin, he had lived in Adel, GA before moving to Lake City in 1972. Bill enjoyed fishing, hunting, working in his shop and especially spending time with his family. Bill was a member of Old Providence Baptist Church.

Bill is survived by his wife, Donna Griffin; two sons, Brian Griffin (Paula) and Bradley Griffin (Amy); brother, Carlton Griffin (Vena); sisters, Rita Johnson (Joe), Pauline Wilson, and Dolly Alvarado (Jesse); grandchildren, Josh Griffin (Kaila Weyand), Derek Davis (Chelsie), Taylor Griffin, Cason Griffin, Shellbian Griffin, Jennifer Ring (Ryan); great grandchildren, Emarie Chen, Jett "FAST" Windham, Zoey Davis, Brysan Davis, Brayden Davis, Sarah Ring, Aiken Griffin, Harmony Gonzalez, and Braylon Hayberg.

Funeral services for Mr. Griffin will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Old Providence Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Stout officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday evening from 5:00-700 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Old Providence Baptist Church Building Fund, 9316 NW CR 245, Lake Butler, FL 32054.
