Beverly Elsie Stone, 78 of Lake City, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the Willowbrook Assisted Living Facility in Lake City.  She was born in Emery, Utah to the late Howard and Elsie Williams Sorensen.  Ms. Stone served our country in the United States Army and following her service she worked for many years at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Prior to making Lake City her home, Ms. Stone was a longtime resident of Salt Lake City, Utah.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and attended the Price Creek Ward in Lake City.  Ms. Stone was a crafty person, always making jewelry for her grandchildren.  She enjoyed shopping, sewing and crocheting.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, Randolph Sorensen; and four sisters, Erma Sorensen, Ann Sorensen, Judy Ann Sorensen and Beth Sorensen.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Vance H. and Xantippi Stone, Lake City; five grandchildren, Courtney Bedenbaugh (Kaleb), Lake City, Madeline Noerring (Colton), Lake City, Gabriella Lowery (Logan), Rigby, ID, Fallon Stone, Lake City and Colby Stone, Lake City; and seven great-grandchildren, Miley, Lanie, Callie, Blakely, Finley, Kacie and Spencer.

Services will be held at a later date in Salt Lake City, Utah.
