Beverly Grantham Hunter
Sarah Beverly Grantham Hunter passed away peacefully on June 29, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 28, 1937 in Live Oak, FL and was the youngest child of Wiley and Jessie Grantham, Sr. After raising her children, she worked and retired from the State of Florida. She enjoyed playing weekly bridge, traveling with friends, cooking for her family, keeping her fur grandkids, and volunteering for the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Ft. White, FL.
She is survived by her five children, Glenn Hunter (Laura), Wiley Hunter (Gayle), Linda Butler (Art), Mark Hunter (Marilyn), and Alan Hunter (Pam); nine grandchildren, Travis Hunter (Amy), Kennon Hunter, Kelly Hunter Sistrunk (Corey), Sarah Butler O'Rourke (Mike), Rachel Butler, Leslie Hunter Skeen, Natalie Hunter, Matthew Hunter, and Jonathan Hunter; five great grandchildren, Kayleigh Skeen, Kaylin Hunter, Alaina Hunter, Brynn Hunter, and Channing Hunter; brother, Wiley Grantham, Jr.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Breechen, Pastor of Ft. White United Methodist Church officiating with the assistance of Pastor Fred Gaylard, Pastor of First Advent Christian Church of Lake City. Private family interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 12:00-1:30 P.M. Tuesday before the services. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the following: Bread of Life Food Pantry, 185 East Wells Street, Ft. White, FL 32038 or Haven Hospice, 6037 West US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
