Beulah R. Wadford, 83 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at the Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center.  She was a lifelong resident of Lake City and a daughter to the late James Albert Rivers and Erma Josephine Roberts Rivers.  Ms. Wadford was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1952.  She worked for many years as a switchboard operator with both, Southern Bell and Lake Shore Hospital.  Ms Wadford enjoyed cooking, growing flowers and spending time with her family.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. "Buddy" Wadford,  her brother, Dolphus C. Rivers, and two sons, Carl William Wadford and Ronald Wayne Wadford.

Survivors include her children, Edward Clark, Debbie Butler and Ken Wadford all of Lake City; five grandchildren, Jamie Clark, Lake City, Kyle Wadford, Baker County, Leslie Stanziani (Luke), Lake City, Jason Butler, Missourri and Kevin Butler (Carey), Gainesville; also five great grandchildren, Triston Clark, Kayla, Brittany, Louis and Wyatt Stanziani.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Max Bass officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
