Mrs. Betty Sue Warren,"Bebe" 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the Baptist South Hospital following complications from a recent surgery. She is the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mickey Rebling Michaels. Mrs. Betty has made Lake City her home for the past twenty-six years and was a faithful member of Parkview Baptist Church; she owned and operated her own business known as The Hair Affair in Jacksonville, FL for many years. She enjoyed skydiving, hunting, fishing, especially going to the Florida Keys fishing, flew planes, skiing, woodworking and carving walking sticks. She also enjoyed doing stain glass work and she also earned her black belt degree in Taekwondo. She is preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Michaels.
Mrs. Betty is survived by her husband of forty-five years, John Donald Warren of Lake City; her four sons, Rodney Walker (Tracey) of Jacksonville, Michael Walker of Virginia, David Warren (Darlene) Williston, and Mickey Warren of Jacksonville; and her brother, Ronnie Michaels, Mississippi. Four grandchildren, Brice Jewell (Andrew), Bradley Walker, MacKenzie Walker, and Kendall Walker along with her great-grandchildren, Jax and Adelyn Rae Jewell, also survive.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the Parkview Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Tatem officiating. Visitation with the family will be held beginning at 2:00 P.M. prior to the service at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
