Betty Jo Cannon, 66 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  She was born in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Chuck and Juanita Greenhill Phillips.  Ms Cannon had made her home in Lake City since 1983 having moved here from Jacksonville where she was a longtime resident.  She was of the Baptist faith and a graduate of Paxon High School in Jacksonville class of 1968.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Christina Bedenbaugh (Brad), Lake City; her son, Chris Cannon (Stacy), High Springs; her brother, Roger Phillips, Jacksonville; her two sisters, Pam Hughson and Brenda Crespo (John) both of Jacksonville; her companion, Thomas Offer, Lake City; and five grandchildren, Madison and Savannah Bedenbaugh both of Lake City and Kelly, Koli and Kendal Cannon all of High Springs.

Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055 in memory of Ms Cannon.
