Bernard J. Trumbach, 75, passed away on , Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). He was born in Belize, Central America to the late Alvin and Blanche [Avery] Trumbach and has lived in Lake City since 2005 having moved here from New Orleans, Louisiana.  Bernard was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed telling jokes, cooking and jazz music.  He was employed for 40 years with Flowers Bakery and was a District Sales Coordinator until his retirement. He loved the Lord deeply and was a faithful member of the Lake City Seventh Day Advent Church.

Survivors include his caring wife of 31 ½ years, Rachel Helen Trumbach of Lake City, FL; step-son, David Creel of Lake City, FL; brothers, Randy Trumbach of New York, NY, Greg (Sandi) Trumbach and Gary (Kathy) Trumbach both of New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Erika Barrs and Emily Creel; nephew Gregory (Cherie) Trumbach Jr.; nieces, Dana [Trumbach] (Chad) Gough-Fortenberry & Erin Trumbach.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2015, in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Brendan White officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation the family will be held one hour prior to service time (1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.)
