Belinda Jean Ferguson, 60, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, February 22, 2023 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on February 8, 1963 to Bertha McIntosh Ferguson and the late David Ferguson. She was a native of the Nassau County & Callahan area, moving here a little over 25 years ago. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, singing and swimming. She is preceded in death by her father, David Ferguson.

She is survived by her mother, Bertha Ferguson of Lake City; siblings, Tina Wrye (Buddy) of Lake City and David Ferguson (Karis) of Alachua; and her nieces and nephew, Justin Wrye and Kortney Wrye both of Lake City and Ashtin Ferguson (Jason Schiel) of Orlando. One great-niece, Sage Schiel also survives.

A celebration of Belinda's life will be conducted on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered to Haven Hospice, 6037 W.
