Barbara Ann Sapp Hines, 80, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday evening, June 22, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born in Quitman, GA on August 14, 1942 to the late Harvey Sapp and Zila Jacobs Sapp. She has made Lake City and the Branford area her home most of her life and was a 1960 graduate of Columbia High School. She worked for a little over 10 years as a waitress at the Wayside and then a little over 20 years with the American Legion. She also helped farm with the family in Branford. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her animals, collecting Barbie dolls, loved playing pool and bowling. She was also very patriotic and supported the military any chance she had.

She is survived by her husband of over 18 years, Bud Hines of Lake City; daughters, Susan Trejo (Ray) of Patrick Space Force Base and Alicia Stephens of High Springs; and her grandson, Jacob Trejo of Patrick Space Force Base.

A celebration of life service for Mrs. Hines will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
