Ms. Barbara Ann Jones McGlamery Cutcher, 88, of Lake City, FL passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her mother Maime Harlow Crews and father Elza Jones and her husband Jimmie Lee McGlamery and Art Cutcher.  She was born October 10, 1935, in McAlpin, FL, and moved to South Fl. at the age of sixteen. In 1975 she moved to Lake City where she lived the rest of her life with her husband and children. After graduating high school, she married Jimmie Lee McGlamery in 1953. She had three children, Michael, David, and Barbara Jr.

After a successful career in selling real estate, she became a real estate appraiser, a profession she practiced until her retirement. In addition to being the president of the Board of Realtors of L.C. FL. in 1985, Barbara was also a member of many clubs including the Garden Club and the Friendship Club which she continued attending until the current day. After Jimmie Lee's death in 1993, Barbara remarried in 2000 to Art Cutcher and loved going square dancing and spending time with their many friends. Barbara was known for her kindness and generosity. She was generous with her time and volunteered to help those in need. She was devoted to her family and also knew how to take care of herself and charted her own course through life, taking chances with love and her career. She remained in good health until the end and was grateful for all the blessings God bestowed on her. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Barbara is survived by her sons James Michael, and David Paul, son-in-law Rick, and daughter Barbara Ellen and grandchildren Lorenzo Aaron Jones and Ezra Jacob Harlow. She is also survived by one brother, Charles Jones.

A funeral service for Ms. Barbara Ann Jones McGlamery will be conducted on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Tim Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 9:30 A.M. prior to the service at the chapel.
