(Donna) Jones, Jr, Charles (Susan) Jones, David (Lisa) Jones, and Linda (Michael) Lahowin, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law Charles and Patricia Kime. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward B. and Dorothy F. Kime, and her brother and sister-in-law Edward B. and Marilyn Kime, Jr.
Born in Gallipolis, Ohio, on November 5, 1935, the second of three children. The Kime family later moved to Huntington, WV. Barbara graduated from Huntington High School in 1953. She married Richard Edward Jones in 1953. Barbara had 4 children with Richard and lived in Laurel, MD. Barbara was a stay-at-home mother raising her four children and supporting them in all their endeavors. She adored all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She later worked for the University of Maryland. She also devoted time to the Daughters of the American Revolution, honoring her heritage and contributing to historical preservation efforts. A member of the Presbyterian Church, Barbara's faith provided a guiding light in her life, shaping her values of compassion, generosity, and service. Barbara married David Frampton on June 20, 1987. David passed away in 2021. Barbara and David split their time between Bedford, PA, and Lake City, FL. Barbara enjoyed her 1800s-era log cabin farm in Bedford, spending years upgrading the structures and filling the main house with antiques. For years she would host a weeklong gathering of her grandchildren at the farm in Bedford to give them a taste of country life. Barbara enjoyed tending to her garden at her farm and canning her crops at the end of the growing season.
As we celebrate Barbara's life, we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones who passed before her. In honoring her memory, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
