Mr. Anthony Wayne Hinson, 61 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City.  He was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Fred Edward and Betty Land Hinson and had made Lake City his home since 1991.  Mr. Hinson enjoyed playing the guitar, being active in youth football and spending time with his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Hinson in 2001.

Survivors include his two sons, Chris and Amanda Hinson, Austin, AR and Jared and Regan Hinson, Lake City; two daughters, Jennifer Hinson, Lake City and Kimberly Price, Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Vicky Lynn Ward, Macon, GA; his close friends, Clay Steele and Jean Ann Calhoun both of Lake City; five grandchildren, Jacob Hinson, Jocelyn Hinson, Christopher Wayne Hinson, Jasper Hinson, Layton Hinson and Marissa Price.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Interment will follow.  Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:45 AM prior to the service at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 S US Hwy 441, Lake City.  386-752-1954.  Please leave words of comfort for the family at www.gatewayforestlawn.com
