Annette C. Sheely passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020, she was 83 years old.  Annette was born in High Springs, FL., and grew up there, attending the University of Florida and graduating with a degree in Education.  Annette married John Truett Sheely in 1958 and moved to Lake City, FL where they raised their two children, Marcia and John.  Annette is survived by her son John, daughter in law, Colette, two granddaughters Kirsten and Hannah, her sister Janette Sheely  , and nieces Tamara Summers,  Angela VanCleve and LeAnn Philpot, nephews Lynwood Brown, Jeff Boone, Steve Boone, Allen Kunze and numerous cousins.  Annette taught elementary school for 30 years, most of those years at Melrose Park Elementary School in Lake City, Florida teaching the third grade.  Annette was predeceased by her husband Truett and her daughter, Marcia.

We understand that Annette touched many lives and we appreciate everyone's thoughts, however, due to COVID, we will not have a large service, but rather a small family attended burial service at the cemetery.  Services will be available livestreamed by visiting Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home on Face book.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the High Springs Cemetery in High Springs.  Interment will follow.
